What's the deal with the IP addresses in the Recent Changes page? Why are we allowing anonymous contributions? —CraigBrozinsky

  • That's an option in Wiki Settings/General — you can allow non logged in users to edit. Davis Wiki has this off, but a lot of newer wikis leave anon editing on. That said, I prefer no anonymous editing — I think it helps to build community better. (However, since I've never lived in Berkeley, I'm not going to be of much help beyond the seeding/recruiting stage anyway.) —BrentLaabs
  • Hey, for now I'm going to allow anon editing since we are in the early stages. Once we have a community that is actively contributing I will restrict it to authenticated users. Hope that helps. Cheers
